As the eighth restaurant in the El Cholo® family, Café Maiz combines old–world Mexican charm with the outstanding reputation of El Cholo® to create a fast casual approach to the most authentic of Mexican restaurant’s, the Taqueria.

As you enter into the spacious dining area filled with rich earth tones highlighted by turquoise from the sea, you are welcomed by the fresh tortillas cooking on an authentic Comal.  Local art adorns the walls and an open view kitchen allows you to witness a fresh selection of meats and salads being grilled and tossed to tantalizing perfection before your eyes.  Specialty items include some El Cholo® favorites and the now widely known secret of “fonda de cocina”, the simple and innovative dishes kitchen staff create for themselves in the cocina’s back home.
