As the eighth restaurant in the El Cholo family, Café Maiz combines old–world Mexican charm with the outstanding reputation of El Cholo to create a fast casual approach to an authentic Mexican Taqueria.

The atmosphere of Café Maiz is open and inviting, with rich earth tones highlighted by the turquoise of the sea.  An authentic tortilla comal welcomes guests.  There is an open view kitchen where you can look back into history and you will witness how our staff has created over 85 years of tradition.  Specialty items include fresh, grilled El Cholo favorites and the now widely known secret of “fonda de cocina”, the simple and innovative dishes kitchen staff create for themselves.

A wonderful patio with a bubbling fountain allows guests to relax and sip our famous El Cholo Margaritas under blue skies or soft moonlight.  Curbside “To Go” pick-up is also available.
